Friday night, PNC Bank & the St. Louis Cardinals hosted the PNC High School Baseball Showcase at Busch Stadium. It’s an AllStar game of sorts between Missouri and Illinois. The lone JeffCo participant was Seckman High School’s Collin Edwards.
And from the minute we arrived, Collin looked right at home. Like he belonged there. Collin had to wait until the 6th inning to show his skills. Once there, he recorded two put outs for Missouri and went 1 for 2 at the plate. Collin was on deck in the top of the 9th, but never had the opportunity for a 3rd at bat.
